Written and directed by Duncan Jones, Moon is a rare breed of Sci-Fi Indie thriller. The movie stars Sam Rockwell (Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Iron Man 2) who plays a moon miner who is working for a company reversing Earth’s environment issues when strange events develop.
Moon received very good buzz from this year’s Sundance Festival and will hit the big screens on September 3rd this year. A lot of movies have trouble translating Sundance success to a blockbuster movie, will this movie become another victim of that trend?
