Miss France 2010, the 63rd Miss France pageant was held in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur on December 5, 2009. Malika Ménard of Normandy, was crowned Miss France 2010 by outgoing titleholder Chloe Mortaud of Albigeois Midi-Pyrénées (5th Runner-Up at Miss Universe 2009 and 3rd Runner-Up of Miss World 2009).
For the first time since 1987, Miss France was crowned by viewers votes (After announcing the 5 finalists during the live). Only the judges, selected the Top 5 (in the Top 12).
After Phuket (Thailand) last year, The 37 contestants travelled to the beautiful island, Martinique (Fashion shoots, videos, interviews…) from 13 to 21 November.
Malika Ménard is going to represent the country at Miss Universe 2010 in July 2010 and at Miss World 2010 in Nha Trang, Vietnam on November 2010. Runners-Up are going to represent the country in others pageants as Miss International 2010 and Miss Europe 2010.
