Overwhelming support for Cristina Kirchner and high voter turnout

The Kirchner yesterday gave a strong step in his quest for reelection.

Cristina Kirchner won yesterday about 50 percent of the votes for the category in the first presidential primary elections to experience the definition of applications. A result that puts it on track to re-election in the first round on 23 October. In his presentation, the President last night called for unity.

The formula Cristina Amado Boudou exceeded by about 38 percentage points to Ricardo Alfonsin Javier Gonzalez Fraga, who in turn was just over by decimals to Eduardo Duhalde and Mario Das Neves, the Peronist opposition. The socialist Hermes Binner, who accompanied Sen. Norma Morandini, was fourth.

The behavior of the official formula exceeded the most optimistic calculations of Kirchner: was higher even than that of the 2007 election, which led to President Cristina Kirchner.

Across the country the elections were held with confidence, and Argentina evinced civic maturity. Well, both in schools and in schools where there was voted a climate of respect and peace.

The festivities continued after midnight in Buenos Aires by fans of Cristina Kircher. Without incident.
