Interesting psychology experiment. People probably figured it was a gimmick and they were too busy to care about some advertisement/prank/whatever. But it’s still very strange that most people didn’t care to investigate it for even a moment. And the ones who did take money did so very quickly and with little thought, not caring to read more than a couple different labels. This experiment would get very different results with $5 bills, or in a less affluent neighborhood, or on a busier street.
